One of the biggest investments in the tourism sector in Croatia. The project is the emblem of the excellent management of the growing tourist flows that the city of Vodice and the county of Sibenik and Knin have shown to be able to deal with.
The complex
Hotel Olympia, situated 500 m from the town center of Vodice in Croatia and 50 m from the sea, is an ideal combination of traditional and modern.
In June 2017 new luxury wing Olympia Sky was opened, close to the sea, with the highest standards of environmental efficiency and with completely new facilities.
The project
In addition to the existing outdoor pool, wellness center, sports hall and gym in June 2017 was opened new a la carte restaurant, swimming pool, new conference rooms, exclusive beach bars and a lot of new facilitiesthat satisfy even the most demanding guests. The ninth floor houses a pool with a panorama view of Vodice, Murter, Sibenik and Kornati, while the last, tenth floor is home to a luxurious panoramic restaurant Sky.
The eye-catching design of the structure was inspired by cruise ships, and the hotel facilities are equipped in the same way as the cruising giants.
The unique design, warm wood, cozy carpets and pleasant lighting are due to factors that are in Olympia feel relaxed and satisfied.
Cariboni has lit four stars hotel providing LED luminaires called Cube Ceiling-Mounted and Fin XS Wall-Recessed for lighting outdoor ceilings and external terraces.
Public satisfaction
The Parliament speaker Gordan Jandrokovic called the hotel the pride of Croatia: “This is an object comparable to the best hotels in the world, and all of us need to be proud. Olympia Sky is a piece of the Croatian tourism mosaic. We are seeing business growth in double digit percentages, tourism is one strongest sector, export is growing and we have reasons to be satisfied.”
Josip Stojanović, Hotel Director, called the Olympia a continuation of the vision of Ante Vulin, the architect who finished the concept design project 15 days prior to his death.
